An illustration by Stephen Gammell from 'Scary Stories 3; More Tales to Chill Your Bones'. From the story 'Is Something Wrong?'. People in my generation should know exactly what this is, as we grew up with these books and this was the illustration on the front cover of this one. This tattoo was very meaningful to the customer; it represented facing your fears, no matter how awful they may seem, and realizing they aren't as bad as they may first appear.
